Recruiting Board - Staff view

Staff view reorganises the same board by the person who saved each player, so you can see who has been finding whom.

What you are looking at

Your staff, each with the players they have saved. Cards carry the same information as the other views — name, the position they were assessed for, when they were saved, View report and Remove — grouped under the coach who boarded them.

Why it exists

The Recruiting Board belongs to the program, so once a few coaches are working, a board of forty players has no visible authorship. Staff view restores it. Three uses:

• See who is carrying the research. If one assistant has boarded thirty players and everyone else has boarded two, you have learned something about how your staff is actually working.
• Know whose judgment you are reading. "Who put this player forward?" is a fair question in any recruiting meeting, and it is faster to answer here than by asking around.
• Check your coverage. If you have split the work by country or position group, this view shows whether the split is holding.

Reading it fairly

Volume is not value. A coach who boards three players after watching forty is doing better work than one who boards thirty on first impressions — and the board cannot tell those apart. Use Staff view to see the shape of the work, not to rank the workers.

Duplicates

Two coaches can save the same player, and the same player can be saved twice for different positions. Both are normal. If you see the same name twice under one coach at the same position, that is usually a re-run rather than a mistake — remove whichever you do not need.

A note on shared accounts

Staff view only works if everyone has their own login. Your subscription costs the same regardless of how many staff members you add, so there is no reason to share one — and a shared account makes every card on this screen read as the same person.
