Recruiting Board - Field view

Field view puts your saved players on a pitch. Every position on the formation carries a count, and clicking one opens the players you have saved there.

What you are looking at

A pitch with eleven positions marked — GK, LB, LCB, RCB, RB, CDM, CM, CAM, LW, RW, CF — each showing how many players you have boarded for that role.

Beside it, the Position reports panel lists the players saved at whichever position you have selected, with the same cards as Column view: name, position, when it was saved, who added it, View report and Remove. Show all returns the whole board.

Why a pitch instead of a list

Because a recruiting class is a shape, and a list hides shape. Four at right centre-back, two in central midfield and zeros across the entire front line is instantly obvious on a pitch and easy to miss in columns — especially when the columns you scroll past are the empty ones.

This is the view to open in a staff meeting. Nobody needs the layout explained, and the conversation starts at "we have nothing wide" instead of at "let me walk you through the board".

How to use it

  • Look at the zeros first. They are your recruiting plan for the next month.
  • Look at the clusters second. Four saved at one position often means one coach went deep on a country rather than that the position genuinely needs four options.
  • Click through position by position when you are reviewing rather than searching. It keeps the conversation on one role at a time.

What the positions mean

A player sits at the position you selected when running their report — the role you are recruiting them into, not necessarily the one their club lists. If a player looks like they are in the wrong place on the pitch, that is the report's recruiting position, and you can run them again for a different role.

What it does not do

It is not a depth chart of your current squad and it does not know your roster. Every player on the pitch is a target, not a signing — the counts describe your board, not your team.
