Report history
Report History is where you go back to the reports you have already run — the players you looked at last month, the ones you decided against, the ones you never got round to boarding.
What is in there
Each row is a report you have run: the player's name, the date it was generated, and the match score it carries for your program. Click a row to open the full report.
Reports are living documents. They re-generate automatically every 14 days, so opening an old row does not give you an old report — it gives you the current picture of that player, whether you ran it in March or last week. The date tells you when you first looked, not how stale the contents are.
Report History versus the Recruiting Board
Two different jobs, and coaches mix them up:
- Report History is everything you have ever looked at. It is a record of your work, and it fills up quickly — including players you rejected.
- The Recruiting Board is the shortlist you chose. It is deliberately smaller, organised by position, and shared with your staff.
Looking someone up does not put them on your board. Saving them does.
Finding an old report
You can search your Report History, so you do not have to scroll back through a season's worth of rows to find the player you looked at in November. Search the name and open the report.
Your history is your own
This is the one place where VeriScout is not shared. Report History is per coach — you see the reports you ran, not the ones your colleagues ran.
The Recruiting Board works the other way round: it belongs to the program, and everyone on staff sees the same one. If you want a colleague to work from a player you have found, save them to the board.
One thing your history being private does not mean: invisibility. The dashboard's Recent Activity feed shows the reports being generated across your program, including who ran them. Your staff can see that you looked at a player — they just cannot browse your history.
How far back it goes
Reports are kept for 12 months, then cleared. Your history holds the last year of your work rather than everything you have ever done.
In practice this rarely costs you anything. Reports are unlimited within the countries you subscribe to, so a player who dropped off your history a year ago is one search away from a fresh report — and a fresh one is better anyway, since a twelve-month-old look at a developing player is a different player.
If there is someone you want to keep in front of you across a longer cycle, save them to your Recruiting Board. Boarded players stay until you decide otherwise.
Seeing the same player more than once
If you have run a player twice — usually to assess them at a second position — both reports stay in the list, and the newer one carries the later date. That is normal and costs nothing. Reports are unlimited within the countries you subscribe to.
Reports for countries outside your bundles
They stay in your history like any other, blurred until you add the bundle. Add it later and the report you generated weeks ago becomes readable — nothing needs re-running.
