The dashboard
The dashboard is your landing page after login. It is built around one decision — what are you doing next — plus a live view of what your staff has been working on.
The three actions
Everything starts from the top of the page:
- Start a report — the search flow: pick a country, search a player, choose the position and recruiting class.
- Review recent reports — your Report History, the last 12 months of reports you have run.
- Recruiting board — your program's shared shortlist.
Beside them, the Active scouting workspace card shows which workspace you are working in. If your account has more than one, check this before you start — reports and boards belong to a workspace, not to you personally.
Recent activity: reports delivered to your staff
A live feed of the reports being generated across your program, newest first. Each row shows the player, the position they were assessed for, which staff member ran the report, and how long ago.
This is the fastest way to see what your staff is working on without asking. If two coaches are both looking at right-backs in the same week, the feed is where you notice.
Note the difference between this feed and your own Report History. The feed is workspace activity — what is being worked on across your program. Report History is personal: it lists the reports you ran, not your colleagues'.
Account profile
Your identity in the system, and it matters more than a profile card usually does:
- Type — Coach.
- Association — NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA or NJCAA.
- Tier — your program's level within that association, A through E.
Association and tier are what personalise every Match Score in your account. If either is wrong, the headline number on every report is wrong, so it is worth a look on day one.
The explainer box beneath sets out how tier is calculated: your program's RPI rankings over the past five seasons, weighted so recent seasons count most, and re-evaluated after each season as new rankings publish. Tier is calculated rather than chosen, so it cannot be edited — if you believe yours is recorded incorrectly, email hello@veri-scout.com.
Report volume overview
Three counts of report activity in your workspace, over the last 14 days, 30 days and 2 months. It is a measure of how much the tool is being used across your staff — useful at renewal time, and useful for a head coach who wants to know whether the recruiting work is actually happening.
These are workspace totals, not personal ones, so they will exceed the number of reports in your own history.
What the dashboard is not
It is not a place where players sit. Nothing you see here is saved to your recruiting list — the feed is activity, not a shortlist. To keep a player, open the report and save them to the Recruiting Board.
