Why did a player's score change?
You looked at a player last month and the numbers are not the same today. That is the system working, not a fault.
Reports refresh every 14 days
Every VeriScout report re-generates automatically every 14 days, whether or not the player is on your Recruiting Board. Football does not stand still between the day you ran a report and the day you make a decision, so neither does the report.
What causes a score to move
- New matches. Starts, benchings and absences all land in the record as fixtures are played, and Current Form is the circle that reacts fastest.
- A change of club. A move up or down the league ladder shows in Trajectory, and the first months at a new club feed Consistency.
- A new season. Ladder position, role and involvement all reset into a new season's record.
- A deeper record. A player who previously had too little history for Consistency to be scoreable will cross that line and gain a circle. Confidence rises the same way.
- Your own program. Tiers are re-evaluated each season, so if your program's tier moves, every Match Score in your account is recalculated against the new one.
How to read a move
Direction and size matter more than the exact number. A Match Score sliding from 88 to 84 across a season is noise around the same conclusion. A Reliability score falling from "Always starts" to "Sometimes starts" is a different player than the one you looked at in March, and the verdict words are usually a faster read than the digits.
When something has clearly shifted, go to Recent match history and the Development Path. They show you what happened rather than just that something did.
Old reports
Every report you have run stays in Report History. Reports are living documents rather than dated snapshots, so what you open is the current picture — the record itself is the archive, and the Development Path holds the full career.
Should I re-run a report to get the latest?
No need. The refresh happens on its own, and re-running costs nothing anyway if you want to force a fresh look.
